Carbonite

I have been using Carbonite for about 6 months and I found the process to be pretty painless.  I do feel a lot more secure knowing that all my files are backed up.  Especially now that I have about 900 gigs of pictures that I would be pretty upset to see all disappear.

The best feature of Carbonite is that once it is setup you don't have to think about it.  I pretty much installed it and forgot about it after the initial download phase.  I guess the real test hasn't happened where I have needed to restore all my files but I have done some trial runs with a few files to make sure that it should work.

What I would like to improved about Carbonite is its ability to backup large videos I have some videos that are .avi format that I just can't backup as I have heard that Carbonite throttles there upload speed.  Some day my plan is to possible try to convert then to a smaller video format.  For now I am in okay shape as I have the tapes and the digital copy.
