Why I decided to try it.(Ting referral link)
I was tired of paying 60 dollars a month for my wife and I to have 1000 minutes and unlimited texting on Tmobile. It seem like a lot of money just to make phone calls and send a few texts. Heard about Ting from a friend at work and decided to give it a try this is my experience so far.Monthly Bills(Ting referral link)
So the biggest thing that I love so far is how cheap my wireless bill has been so far. My first months bill was 27 dollars! Currently for my second month I am looking at 20 (Plus probably a few dollars for taxes) dollars! The reason my bills are so low is based on my actual usage. Even though my wife and I both now have smart phones we spent the majority of our time in places with wi-fi so neither one of us has even turned out data on.

S Minutes 70 minutes used $3.00S Messages 83 messages used $3.00
XS Megabytes 2 megabytes used $0.00 (I actually accidentally used a little and they took it off my bill!)
3 Devices $6 for each device $16.60 (To try out service I originally Taxes and regulations $5.01
Total 27.61
Total Cost(Ting referral link)
Switching to Ting was a little expensive as both my wife and I needed to buy new phones.
Iphone 4S $160 from Glyde
Galaxy S III $135 also from Glyde
Otter boxes to protect phones 60 a piece.
Total of 295 but I can probably subtract around 30 because my wife's phone we were using on T-mobile was broken. At my current savings of roughly 30 dollars a month I will break even in just 10 (Without including Otter boxes) months! To also pay off otter boxes would be 14 months which is still under less then a 2 year contract.
Ting Customer Service(Ting referral link)
So far my experience with Customer service has been awesome as well. When I purchased from Glyde one of my concerns was that they phones might not come with a Sim card. The other issue is that Glyde expects you to tell them if the phone works within 48 hours. Ting has Sim cards for sale on there website for 9 dollars. So just in case my phones didn't have them I decided to buy one. Since I was prepared of course both my phones came with Sim cards. So I contacted Ting customer service and they refunded the money for the Sim card! When I first got my phone I didn't know how to shut off cell phone data so I used like 4 Meg of service. I was expecting to get charge but Ting took it off my bill.
